Your Manager has no clue how to help guide you in the down years because your doing all the right things and they just enjoy the up years. The numbers aren’t even correct. This job is not true sales. It’s a marketing position. Rankings are basically a lottery.

Let's face it, pharma sales is a very soft job. If you just show up, on average, you will do well enough to last 10-20 years. Also, don't express any opinion contrary to management, seem excited about everything and say everyone is great.
