Get used to using every aspect of Salesforce. Half the shit is made up.

They track your company car and cell phone movement and overlay that with the call notes they force you to spend half your day entering into salesforce.com. You will get nit-picked to death with e-mails on every ounce of minutia.

And those are the good days. The bad days are when your clients are blowing you up with issues and you can't get support from the lab, operations or even your own management hierarchy. Your direct manager is so tied up on conference calls every hour that you can't get them on the phone.

Tell me this is an exaggeration, this cannot be serious???

Sorry to confirm that it is 100% accurate. Coupled with quite a few sales leaders that never carried a bag and that you never want to put in front of a prospect or client.

And where are you going with your cars? We work from home still. Are they tracking my car sitting in the garage while I'm making calls to clients that I'm losing to other labs? This place sucks

It’s your cell phone but there is mandated software they make you put on your phone to do Quest business and they track you that way. The time you spend on useless conference calls is maddening! And if it’s not logged in SF, then it didn’t happen! All they care about are metrics.

Metrics rule with the exception of the most important one, revenue.

Who is “we”? The new format for calculating revenue has killed my numbers. All because they want to pay less commission. This place is a joke.
