The boards serve as both an archive of the old company posts, as well as a place for former employees to reminisce or reconnect, as they will remain open for posting. We may also remove some board threads that have been inactive for several years.

Merck vs JNJ
I have a friend who had similar salary and tenure at JNJ. Retirement numbers almost double at JNJ. Their pension is getting changed in 2026 like Merck did in 2019. I don’t think they can take a lump sum on their pension though.
