We published it in the NEJM, Mournjaro had 4 CV deaths and Ozempic had ZERO! We did not publish in the same article the "Cardio Disorders" seen in the trial. You can see those results only online at clinicaltrials.gov. There were 17 total Cardiovascular AE events in the trial 16 for Mounjaro and 1 for Ozempic. Of these AE's the most concerning were 5 Acute MI's for Mounjaro and ZERO for Ozempic. You tell me if you lose weight everything gets better???

    Devil in the detail and sometimes hard to get over preconceived notion, even though Novo trial clearly showed CVOT benefit independent of weight loss (weight loss=reduced comorbidity- “same” compound- they both have glp-1).

    I can’t wait to see the Dan Loeb letter from third point on all the wasteful spending Thibaut is doing. Right down to Summit itself just so his wife could keep living in nyc - when they could have got a huge tax brake moving elsewhere.

    I am a former Lilly rep (Mounjaro, Zepbound) who got caught up in the reorg. If I was a Novo rep selling Ozempic and Weygovy i would hit the 12-18 yeqr olds fatties hard at pediatricians offices'. Zepbound is 18 and over. I would focus on the 2mg dose studies that bridge the gap as far as A1C and weight loss vs Mounjaro.
