  • If there’s so many companies paying significantly more, then why did you even take the offer?

Yes, there’s companies paying significantly more for Specialty positions.

But since, according to you, there’s so many companies paying significantly more for HIV, then name at least 3 of these companies that pay so much more for HIV.
The person didn't specifically say HIV. That said, apparently there's a really big range of salary on the Prep team. My advice to the new people (or otherwise) not making a big salary is take advantage of each and every benefit Gilead offers no matter how small and it'll start to add up. I didn't learn that until after being here for a few years and I missed out. Also if you're going to leave, max out your 401K match as soon as you can so you can at least walk away with that.

  • My offer was 145 and it was pulling teeth to get them to 148. I get it, it’s a job for now but I will continue my job search as there are lots of companies and positions paying significant more. No need for the insult replies. Just stating the reality of the pay here.
I don't blame you if that's the case. I didn't mean to insult. Hopefully you'll make it up in bonus and contests.

  • Hey Negelle & Dave, we’ve tried the micromanagement approach and it’s a collassal failure. Time to be nimble and change our approach. Customers are so offended by the constant manager presence. Not adding any value just another distraction. Thank you
