  • It would be nice to get a few things (new) for the UE team since the Paragon deal is done. We are losing out to all of the little companies that focus on one or two morbidities. We need to scoop up some of these before they get too expensive (like P28)
    I always look at the surgery schedule and I see more nerve repair, CMC, and elbow instability cases...and we don't really have an answer. I hate that ArthXX keeps taking from us. How can we compete at the ASCs? Anyone?

  • One of the worst decisions of my life. I took the job cuz it was more money than my other offer. There were some warning signs during the interview but I ignored them. I’m so much further behind in my career now than I would have been if I took the other job for less money. Avoid Cambridge location, though other sites don’t seem much better.

  • Everyone quits that reports to this woman. I wondered why until I sat in a meeting with her recently. Bull in a China shop! So abrasive and unprofessional.

  • Keep believing that sandwich boy. What drives business is medical journal studies/articles, formulary approval/3rd party payment, KOL support (99% don't see sales reps), TV advertising, sampling (easily accomplished through AI marketing), and most importantly drugs that have unique advantages (per package insert) versus brand and generic competitors (more funds are needed in R&D!). Sorry buddy, the pharma market is no longer the 1970s! We in Finance have been making a very strong case to cut the sales force by at least 75%! Have fun at Jimmy Johns!
    WOW so you are admitting that you’re not very good at your job. If you’ve been arguing to get rid of the salesforce, and you control the financial aspect of a company, why hasnt there been been a massive reduction quite frankly ever.. As another poster said on the site, you need the salesforce to justify the absolutely inflated and bloated middle management group that occurs within Pharma. If you get rid of the middle management, you don’t need the next layer, and then the next layer, especially if you think all those other marketing things work. I think you can run a pharma company with a very small amount of people, but all I see are huge salesforces and countless middle management personnel. I see sky Rizzy commercials all the time and they still have a salesforce. You’re probably a very typical finance guy. And that’s OK. But please don’t talk about things that aren’t going to happen in the hope of finance being patted on the back for getting rid of good paying jobs for Americans who need them.

  • It’s 100% on Anya as she created all this DEI crap and a Happiness Department.

    All the DEI hires are unhappy that they have to actually work vs when they were in community volunteer roles.

    And the Happiness Department? Well, we all see how that’s been working out !
