This is a myopic observation and advice. Live on one income and pay off the house. You are missing the big picture. You don’t live in a country with healthcare like France or Canada. There is much more than cancer out there and some need lifelong healthcare. Chronic conditions, spousal conditions and god forbid but children’s conditions. Unless you are C suite, VP or SVP, you will never be able to afford healthcare till you reach certain age. If a country has a retirement age, it should be honored. There are jobs that they can be pushed into rather than pushed out. Be altruistic.

It’s not myopic. It’s tried and true. And if you follow the path, you can afford healthcare including long term care and catastrophic coverage so you won’t go bankrupt if you end up with an extended illness. Trouble is, most people are financing everything they have to reward themselves for being chained to jobs hey hate. If you start young, you can amass enough to secure your future firmly. But that means no Chanel purses or Jimmy Choo shoes. It also means you probably aren’t living in your dream home or driving a Porsche. However, if the bottom falls out, you won’t lose your home or have to take on a job you hate to make your monthly.

Dermatology is an absolute disaster! The regime ruined the launch of Sotyktu and blamed the reps. Great drug but awful leadership that breeds awful culture.
