At the end of this week, we approach one of our last milestones in the transition, with the closure of the Onyx facility. I have been reflecting on our journey together over the last two years and I remain impressed by your passion, innovative spirit and keen focus on doing what’s best for patients. I recognize the transition has not been easy, and yet, with your strong commitment we’ve achieved our goals and delivered for patients. For all of this, I say a very heartfelt thank you.

To those of you who have joined our Amgen family and will be continuing to work at our Amgen sites or in the OBU, I am excited to see your continued contributions as we strengthen our oncology business and bring Kyprolis to even more patients around the world.

To those who will be leaving the company at the end of the year, I wish you continued success in your future endeavors.

Thank you all for your efforts and dedication to delivering to patients.

    Best,
    TC

This is truly the most condescending and insincere memo that TC has ever written.

His lack of support for the Onyx team, his inability to fight for what was right for the PATIENT, and Amgen shareholders is not reflective of the behavior I would expect in a "leader". At the time when our Patients and Onyx needed him most, he turned tail and ran.

TC, you contributed to and are accountable for dismantling an incredible organization that was filled with talented people who had a genuine interest in the Patient and each other. We all came to work each day for that reason, not some misguided loyalty to Amgen.

Don't insult us with your crocodile tears and this misplaced concern about my future.

I will be much better off in my next role knowing that I have left Amgen and people like you behind.

To all my fellow colleagues getting ready to start that new job in January, best of luck!

Did Tony Coles actually write that? I mean isn't he employed at Yumanity now?

I think the OP meant to indicate that it was the other Tony in TO with the very bad mustache, funky accent and has an "H" starting his last name.. You know which one, the hatchet man that BB sent to SSF on March 9, 2015 to deliver the "happy news".

This was copy of the email that TH sent out early last week, prior to the Onyx "Thank You" luncheon.
