Sure, this company makes a great product, but if you want to get moral about it, they have a fiduciary and ethical obligation to sell the test at a low profit margin to reach as many people as possible and to ensure profits for their shareholders. Remember, their "public" is vast - virtually every living person on the planet beyond a certain age. (much lower than 50 years old IMO) is going to be diagnosed for CRC . Unfortunately, folks around here got greedy and were going for a 100% profit margin on that 600.00 price tag, and have summarily shot themselves in the foot while executing both their investors AND the thousands of people who die each and every day because the insurance companies refuse to be extorted by this greedy little "shrkrelli corp" to coin a phrase. Yes indeed, write a letter to Conroy and implore that he become accountable for all of the CRC deaths each day as a result of manipulated shareprices and the promulgation of a FLAWED pricing scheme, a scheme SO flawed that the last piece of the puzzle (USPSTF) dismissed it out of spite. Of course they're not allowed to consider price, but if you actually believe that, I've got some land just off the coast of Atlantis I'd like to sell you and mstevens. I'll even pitch in $20 bucks to buy a pup tent for you two little buddies to sleep in.
