I have been selling R+F for 3 months. I signed up because I was very impressed with how much better my skin looked. I am with another DS company so I mostly signed up with R+F for the discount and the opportunity to make some extra money. I also am not signing ppl up under me. I'm making money. I do not have to bring it up in every conversation. People usually compliment my skin and it goes from there. I could be making more money if I devoted more time to it. That option is open to me at any time I choose to do so.
This isn't a silly little project. I pay my children's tuitions off my DS paychecks.I also work part time. Don't discount other moms who are working. They put a lot of time and effort into what they sell in order to supplement their incomes. They choose to stay home with their children but still work at the same time. They have to go out and make sales.People aren't walking into their homes to buy from them. It takes more effort than you may think.

Get off of this site! It's for professionally distributed pharmaceutical grade products and Rxs dispensed in a practice not at a wine party.

The company does not have a great reputation except through socialites and the Like..…
I am a licensed professional who prefers the use of high end products like La Prairie. Many who want to make money have approached me to sell the line with them.
Here's a link to some professionals dicussing it on a thread. They hold nothing back.

    Lol...you're so full of ish....

The income in direct sales is directly proportional to how many people you know and to effort level.

A million dollar income, huh? Do your research before going somewhere and looking like such a fool. In 2014, 95% of the consultants made an average below $9,000 and that was before "business" expenses or taxes. You know what $9,000 a year is? It's well below min wage, that's what it is and far below what any teacher is making. The highest salary of that 95% was 40k, which isn't bad, but it's a far cry from "six figures a month." Speaking of six figures a month, that equals over a million dollars a year. How many of the consultants make that? How many do you personally know?

I would love for you to show me these examples of people who started two years ago and make over a million dollars a year. That would certainly be a success story, so please share their story with us all.

Billion dollar brand? Do you mean industry? Cause rodan and fields sure as hell doesn't sell a billion dollars worth of products annually. Their revenues is a lot closer to 250 million dollars annually, which isnt even an accurate number, because some of those sales are to the consultants themselves to remain eligible for their paycheck.

Please link these "top publications" and their reviews for rodan and fields products. Please. I'm not asking for your Facebook friends and their testimonials.

And whole you didn't necessarily highlight it in your laughable post, I would also love to see these sales from nordstrom that R&F consultants always claim. Everyone always says that their products were the top sellers, but that's also a known BS statement. So please, someone, show me those statements.

Again, you can look like an idiot for being involved with these schemes, but don't open your mouth a day remove all doubt with baseless claims and bragging about opportunities that just aren't real.

I tried to do this and actually signed up under someone and was the first in my state to start. Before I would jump and be "all in" on this I had to try the products myself for a while. I had excellent skin care products and knew it would be hard to beat, but these products even matched what I had, I knew I could make a boat load of money. In my experience the products did NOT live up. The skin care that I had prior to using these products were higher quality and performed better. Once I saw that the products were not that great I backed out right away. I wanted this to work, but the products stink. I can't put myself behind something that I wouldn't personally.

Before you go around calling people names, you really should do some homework and know what you are talking about. In order to make money in ANY business, you need to sell a product. It is absolutely NOT true that the only way to make money with R+F is to sign people up to SELL the product. Every independent consultant has a website and will make money off of EVERY sale from their website---regardless of who buys it. It is like shopping online at amazon.com. Amazon.com doesn't need you to sell anything from them to make money. WithR+F, Just go to the consultant's website and order what you want. The consultant will make money off of every order from their customers. This is called direct online sales. In other words, retail. If people want to sign up for the auto ship plan and get a 10% discount, that's great. But it is still RETAIL. Not a pyramid scheme.

ok I goofed when I tried quoting. I can't believe some RF robot idiot just wrote "I'd rather be rich than right". Ok that says everything about your integrity (there isn't any). It's pure pyramid scheme, the bubble will burst eventually. Sales "consultants" dumping off product overload on Amazon because they aren't able to find people to buy it from their overpriced website. They also front load their inventory to "qualify" for "amazing" rewards. So they say they make money but how much are they putting out to keep the illusion alive? When are you all going to learn that just a tiny handful at the top rake in from all the people under them! Any "business" based on this foundation will crumble as it runs out of new "team members" to recruit! Hello, ponzi anyone? Good luck with that.

  10. Who called Rodan+Fields a Pyramid Scheme either believes Pyramid Schemes are a Great business model or doesn't have a clue about the company it's founders and the status of the company therefore completely unreliable source. I and my team have created amazing Residual income streams in PT hours. It's the real deal. I'll be glad to give you the facts.

Exactly! I sell professional grade skin care to derms, plastics and med spas. EVERY skin care professional thinks R and F is a joke at best. I can't tell you how many of my clients spend months fixing the jacked up skin people have from using that line. It is not active. It is not effective. You will not see meaningful changes in your skin. And you will spend a boatload of money, be put on autoship and have your skin "evaluated" by someone who has no clue what they are doing and most likely zero training apart from a basic webinar. If you are serious about taking good care of your skin, stay away from this line. If you don't give a rip what happens to your skin and have tons of cash to waste, then by all means have at it.

Being a licensed professional does not qualify you to sell skin care products anymore than anyone else. What's laughable is the people who work in these offices that recommended products to me and their faces look like crap. Why would I buy it? It's like fat people selling me diet products. With any skincare products, you have to research the active ingredients. I've had better success with over the counter Nutregena than La Prarie. Just because a product is ridiculously expensive, does not mean it works. Same with Obagi. The offices buy it from reps who are selling a product and have the same standard lines. I'm in the medical profession and deal with sales reps all the time.

So, have you used the products yourself? If not, how can you judge?

I finally caved to the pressure a friend of mine was putting on me daily to buy this crap. I ended up ordering some "special" that cost me $350 after shipping, some non-refundable PC Perks charge and shipping. I had absolutely perfect skin, before, but my friend kept pushing me to try this stuff. Within days, I had red and rashy skin, puss pockets popping up randomly, and deep painful pimples underneath. My face looked horrific. I stopped using it and told her I was going to send it back because it just wasn't right for me. Then came the barrage of texts telling me to: "Wait! It will get better! This is an amazing product! You'll love it! All of your other skin stuff you were using wasn't actually cleaning anything and now it's just flushing out your pores and making your skin perfect! (You mean like it was before, I would ask myself) Your clarisonic brush can't compare to this stuff!" Hmmm. So, I tried it again and my skin got even worse. More excuses and articles for me to read about how my skin is adjusting were then thrust upon me. I suddenly realized I was taking skin care advice from a secretary. I went back to my old routine and sent that stuff packing for a refund. The scabs and blemishes are almost all gone, now, and I was just at Ulta yesterday and the skin lady walked over and just raved at my flawless and wrinkle free skin (I'm in my late 30's) and asked me what I use. Well, lady, it's certainly NOT Rodan + Fields.

That's what happened to me too. Skin looked horrible on the Reverse line like worse than when I was a teenager--I was told to keep using, then use a different line (of course I would have to buy this THEN return the other line). What I think is funny is that I have seen other negative posts about R&F (Lazyman, Reddit) with a majority of negative comments and then POOF the site or thread gets shut down and the owner are sued by R&F. What???? I didn't realize they could do that or how they have the right to do that.

I have been watching the Herbalife FTC ruling and I believe that this ruling will force all MLMs to rewire their entire compensation model (has to be off actual sales to customers and requires a ton of verification of the sale--can't be rewarded on consultants personal purchases) which will be interesting as to how many consultants quit skincare MLMs within the next 2 years. Herbalife has 10 remodel or I believe they will face additional fines or possibly even be forced to shut down.

The doctors are super nice people, not much innovation but the peptide eye patches are clever.

Say what you will, the company is an amazing success story. $1 billion in sales? Incredible.
