seq is about to be purchased - then what will you have to fall back on? A glassdoor rating?

Natera in a really strong position. If you knock down all the haters and really look at it, they are in a solid position.

    Progenity done. Sequenom done.

Natera customers love the service, testing and studies. Their volume is up because of those three things and Medicaid is under control based on the earnings call.

Pipeline full. Cash in the bank. Cash burn actually slow if you look at their specs. Smart reps, good leadership.

Not a lot of pre natal labs in this space can say all those things, not even Counsyl who is burning through cash faster and has poor leadership.

Agreed. Progenity won't pursue in network relationships because they are cashing in on all the $4000 reimbursements out of network hands them. That won't fly in 2017 when OIG and others start cracking down on lab business. They will be done by 2018. Seq is gone. Counsyl is in a world of hurt and LCA is too big to really care about women's health as a whole. Natera is the only company with a strong pipeline, huge growth, a ton of cash behind them. As a rep for Seq, the best bet is to find a different field or maybe join Natera. I know a lot of REPS who have already sent in resumes to Natera.

Natera will follow too. They have a great test but also the most expensive one on the market. They are bleeding red and won't see that change due to poor management (lack of focus) and wrong assumptions of how to control their bleeding.

please natera is the worst even progenity has more ethics. You sell on the oldest technology with the biggest issues! You aren't even a blimp on the screen. Good luck

Natera has a crappy test. There was a study in Prenatal Diagnosis that shows that their Panorama test is worse than whole genome sequencing and although on the surface their test seems better with a higher sensitivity, they just no-call all the ambiguous cases to make it look like their test is the best out there.

Natera tried to poke holes in the study, but their arguments hold no merit. See the link here: http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/pd.5071/full
