BM. He did so much damage in his year and a half. I don't think you would have MC as RSD without BM.

So, if there was a survey between those who like hot fudge sundaes or those who prefer the taste of Brussels sprouts, the vast majority would say they prefer the taste of the ice cream. However, there would be that one guy who honestly prefers the Brussels Sprouts. That always happens. There's always "that one guy". Clearly, you're that guy.

This question is as timely as ever. How much money has this guy cost Eisai in excess turnover? Both when he was manager in Atlanta and even more so since he’s been RBD. Good people left directly because of him or his actions.

for years people have quoted the figure of $100,000 as the amount of money it takes to replace a rep who leaves.....someone said $200,000. Whatever the case, MC’s decisions have cost Eisai in excess of $1,000,000.....some would say likely double or triple that. That’s a lot of Halaven vials.

Territories MC’s actions directly effected rep to leave:
    Phoenix
    Phoenix DM
    Denver 1
    Denver 2
    Seattle
    Portland
5 on Brain tumor/sleeping with reps manager team
    Los Angeles
    Los Angeles
    San Francisco
14 that i can name in West region and i don’t know everything

At least 15....there were SIX on Detroit team who left.......including a new hire who left after only 2 months.

Let’s not forget the Los Angeles DM and the 3-4 reps who left his Atlanta team when he was their DM. It was well known they left MC more than they left Eisai.

Texas team! Add 5. Remember MC insulted Marcus by allowing him to be the interim DM for months but then refused to promote him for lack of experience. Marcus left for a better company. He should have sued Eisai for discrimination. His management style is insulting.

So, with the Texas reps, we’re really talking about 20 ppl from the West division whose decisions to leave Eisai were either partially or fully because of MC. When you add up the reps who left under his reign as DM in Atlanta, we’re talking about two dozen reps. So, he’s cost Eisai between 2.5-5 million dollars. Wow! I can tell you he isn’t worth that.
I have an idea: Eisai, get rid of both RSDs....in fact no RSDs at all. The head of oncology manages the managers directly. Offer TB another role at the company but completely rid yourself of MC.
Then, the next time you have a few million dollars burning a hole in your pocket, pay the reps better. Between the better pay and no more RSDs, you’ll have happy reps who won’t leave......Just a thought.

Eisai USA doesn’t care about wasting Japans money. They just care about blaming subordinates to Japan yo maintain their job another year. Sell the division Japan. It’s not worth 1% profit to be the embarrassment of the United stares oncology market.
