I got crushed on Friday's numbers. Crushed after being near the top all year and it all evaporated with 1 week of data. My year is done.

Sucks. But I am thankful for my DM. He is the best ever. He called me and talked me through it made my contribution feel valued. He was sincere. I've talked to several people in the district and he did the same with them.

Sucks that my bonus and PC was snatched away. I cried most of the weekend. But I'll keep working for him.

Sucks that the forced rankings do this to people. But it does help at least a little when your DM is a decent human being. Silver lining. Hope there are more like him and that they stick around.
