All of the new management, led by Hartman, are a bunch of big company guys, who have no understanding of what it's like to compete as a small or mid size company against large competitors. They're used to be the large competitor with a Golden Brand Name. All they can think to do is blame all the people who were here before them for they're own lack of ability to grow the business, so they keep getting rid of all the people who did not come from large companies. Woodard understood that this isn't JnJ or Stryker, because Woodard came from smaller companies himself. These guys don't know what to do, like a bunch of rich people who have been rich all their lives suddenly cast on the mean streets and told to make it on they're own.

While I was at Conmed my Manager, who covers the western division, didn't even live in the region she managed. Lived in Chicago. How does that make any sense? I would not put her in the "good manager" category.

Is CN still the Mngr for Patient Care Northeast? What a tool. Is there a PC Division still?

Here's what happened: when CH got here and started tearing us apart, everyone and I mean everyone updated their resumes and started sending them out. The good, desirable and sharp sales people left for other opportunities on their own terms. That left the second tier of sales people, these folks thought, well let's wait and see what happens, after about a year they started leaving. Some moved on to better opportunities, while others took what ever they could get and got the hell out. Now all that is left are the CH transplants and the 3rd tier sales people that no one else wants. If you are still here and haven't moved up substantially in the org chart or gross pay, it means you suck and no one else wants you! That may sound harsh but it's the truth!

What's a good manager? They earn way too much and do way too little. All of them.

Hahhhhhh If a manager goes against their superiors, they are gone. There's no "good" managers. There's just some that don't do what their bosses say, or they are lazy and just want to get paid to relax/walk around.

I was a rep in the Patient Care Division for years and I had a great manager Dan Smith, he always helped me out and always looked out of his people until John Hart completely blind sided him and fired him in January, this led to four or five of us leaving Conmed, because John wanted to reward Nadia Wetzel by moving her into the Midwest it was surprising to all of us, because she hadn't hit her quota in three years and she never worked with any of her reps, and she didn't even live in her region, but yet she gets rewarded, she is the one that should of been fired, but John Hart has no balls and he went the easy route. All I can say is John made a huge mistake and if I was DS I would be suing Conmed and John Hart.

Wasn't one of them found on the floor sleeping and unresponsive due to intoxication recently?

Apparently you don’t need a college degree to work at Conmed or to manage.

This is because they want to keep the pay low. ConMed doesn’t care about their employees. They would rather fire,lay-off good people and keep the crap around . It’s all politics.

    Preach on muddafukka.
The people that solve problems, smile, and have a positive outlook on life leave. The ones that cause problems, mean mug, and have a miserable outlook on life are still here.

Is this accurate? Do you need a college degree to work or manage at Conmed? I find this hard to believe.
