Is this why there is so much talk about Merck Reps being hired by Asheville for new contracts?

Merck had a contract to sell their sleep drug via contract. The contract was cancelled any many managers and reps are coming to Assfield

One mgr in NY worked on the Merck/Publicis contract years ago and is hiring all those old reps with her now.

Ashfield also let go a bunch of BI contract reps a few months ago so in my area the manager is over most of the Southeast and is hiring those reps back and is not even looking at other people. Truth....but I guess that is how I would want to be treated since loyalty is nice these days.

May I ask why Ashfield let go a bunch of BI reps? What were they promoting?
