Anybody notice that Hologic does not hire anyone over 40? Some serious age discrimination going on. I am not sure if it's because they can pay the younger sales reps far less money, but damn it's a glaring issue when you look at all the employee's on LinkedIn.
There's another side to it. Think about all the people over 40 they let go over the past few years. They didn't do a big layoff they would have to report and check for age discrimination. They did it one person at a time. Was hologic really so full of bad people who couldn't do the job and all the new ones are better? I don't think overall talent is any different even though everyone is told the old people were useless and the new ones are stars. results speak for themselves.
