maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but somewhere down the line? What’s the prevailing thought about Amazon getting into medical supply and ruining our gig? Just pondering career longevity and if a plan B might be in order. Anyone else worried?

I'm worried that someone as dumb as you works for Cardinal

Actually, it is a valid statement/question. CAH started as a pharma distribution company and moved out of grocery store distribution, recognizing where the money is. With us (CAH), McKesson and other large pharma distributors on the ropes because of the opioid problem, now would be a "prime" time for Amazon to move in. They have already cornered the market on fast, efficient services and would like be able to monitor against opioids by monitoring deliveries to individual addresses instead of an entire town like we did. Amazon is mentioned in almost all of the town hall speeches so someone must be thinking the same thing. Furthermore, Amazon has the money to fight the legal battles which we no longer do. Between Covidien and Cordis crushing us, we may find ourselves all looking for a job.

If the market cap drops any lower, we may have to worry about Amazon buying Cardinal.

Why would they buy us? What do we really bring to the table? Of course the latest rumors is that they are looking to purchase Medline and they are already partnered with them on some products. We have sooo many issues - who would want this turd heap?

Top reps are quitting without having new jobs to move into. People are getting fed up with Cardinal's incompetence. Truly pathetic.

It really started to fall apart way back when Ishmael took over supply chain from Jim Bach. This guy single handedly destroyed the entire function and structure of our established supply chain.
