    VIRUSES

Is it possible to think that we could engineer a virus to attack a specific cell group and destroy it? I believe it is since there are viruses that only attack certain cells of the body they developed they’re own way of identifying these cells and by doing so can start attacking a specific area. Now what if we could grow viruses with specific cancer cell detectors that could be injected into the body hunt down the cancer and kill the cells. Most viruses don’t kill cells just infects them and the damages them a little changes them a little now maybe it isn’t possible without making a flesh eating virus to do that but that could also possibly kill you so what if instead of killing it you could use these special viruses and use their power of destroying DNA and use it to alter the tumours from cancerous to benign tumours if so would we be able to stop these tumours from killing people and animals or would the body reject the viruses and destroy them before they can do their job that being the case is it possible to make it so the body doesn’t fight this virus but instead leaves it alone or would you have to lower the body’s immune system to reach this. Idk hopefully a researcher reads this and maybe gets a idea I’m not a doctor or anything close to it
