I am an MD with five years of post graduate training from a very prestigious university, followed by fellowship in diagnostic oncology. I have 10 years of clinical practice experience in clinical practice(laboratory) who had clients nationwide mostly in Urology, GI, and Derm plus a large sales team. We sold our business to a bigger company. In addition I have research experience in Clinical trials prior to residency. In last three years I have done consulting work as a Physician Executive for an IT firm who had medical clients for a contract. I have thoroughly enjoyed this role where I can use my subject matter expertise, and client interactions. How do physicians break into MSL field as far as landing their first job? Any input from experienced people will be highly appreciated.
why don’t you want to see patients? You went through all that school to make 25% of what an oncologist would make.
