Currently interviewing for a position here and I was told there is a hiring freeze for a few weeks? Anyone know why?

Is it the mid atlantic region? there have been some displacements there so they are taking longer to hire..

In the process of restructuring ETH, DPS, and SCG. Too many redundancies
