Just wanted to let the new ANSRs know that you should take an inclement weather day if the schools are closed because of the weather.

Don't let managers bully you into compromising your safety! They will say that you should "Use your judgment" but they don't really want you to take a remote office day but do it anyway!

Home office closes many times because of the snow and the field is allowed inclement weather days.

Just watch out for the NE management tool who will bully reps and then hope that they sit by their computers nonstop so he can schedule and reschedule a conference call on a snow day to keep people on their toes (the call will probably happen in the late afternoon).

GP and MP keep track of those that take time off - even for vacation, weather, illness, funerals. They believe you are slaves, not employees. I do not care though, I'm probably targeted for the next purge.

I know that management likes to hold paid time off against people but that is wrong because the time is part of our benefits package when we took the job!

they do hold vacation against you on your script count so if you take off a day they take the script count and divide it by 5 days and take that one day away from your GAR report. If you take a whole week off they can’t do that without being caught so they say you have a couple scripts but they do hold it against you. This is awful to hear because we are allowed to take vacation but greedy CEO and senior leadership doesn’t think so. Keep all your documentation. Lawyers are calling for it now.

It’s such BS! Ummm...a script may have been sent over to the pharmacy or given to a patient before the day off that a rep dared to take and just filled on the day that the rep is off!

This post is making me wonder if they back out scripts filled on the weekends or on company holidays too.

Oh and managers have been known for holding time off over reps heads like a freaking ransom and then scorning them at review time for actually taking it as a reason behind crappy review ratings.

Watch your behind always at this evil empire!

"I'm going to micromanage her so much that she'll want to leave"; "I'm emailing her while she's on maternity leave and making her work so she has to take care of her territory while she's out". "I'm going to give her a bad performance review next month. I want to get rid of her. I'm going to ask Jen to be there to back me up".
