Is this a sign of Atricure's demise or just Abbott's girth and strength?
Just left this horrific company (great products, surgeons definitely love), in a clinical role. I have worked for a huge device company prior to this, also as a clinical. We were paid extremely well, and valued. I went to presidient's club 3x in a row bc of my success. My reason for leaving was in hopes of a sales role. I came to Atricure hoping for some opportunities, which I was told were plentiful. I worked very hard in my territory and did phenomenal work. Two sales roles came up and were both given to people who were "friends" of the manager and rep who was moving out. So my chances of getting a fair shake to interview were zero. Clinicals here are treated like dirt. You push buttons and get paid accordingly. They do NOT want clinicals who are smart and sales savvy. They don't want you growing business. They want someone to step on. Having said that, the sales side seems to do very well. The products are excellent. But if you want growth, you better know someone who can hand you a job...if you actually have skill and drive, forget it. I just got a sales role at a tremendous company and I couldn't be happier. I am disappointed but I can't say it didn't teach me some lessons about the professional world.
Go push a button and take your meds, troll! Guidant days really fried your brain.

When you go from selling products like TigerPaw to slamming in occluders and clips, it’s tacky as hell (but understandable) to act this way. Desperate for respect after having none for so long.
Switching it up to Catfishing! Guess that’s one way to try to “push buttons”
Manager is simply reposting what he hears from his cousin that works there.
Thanks Jami. We knowCareful, management lives on here.

Thanks, Lloyd. But you weren’t around then.
No, it’s because he doesn’t refer to his money as “big bucks.”Lloyd does as he’s told. That’s why he’s paid the big bucks!
