They make sure you don’t have a record or anything else hanging out and they do a drug test. To be hired but never test you after that so you can smoke away if you want

I would think they would ask you about it and would go off that but I’m not really sure about a non-compete.
Is the area you would be covering changing at all or is the job changing? They can only hold you to the area and the job discription. There are also a few states that say a non-compete is not valid. Like CA so I would look at that as well
Unless you give them a reason to test like getting caught or getting busted by the police they can’t single people out based on geography or states that have legalized. So they would need to test everyone.and it would guess 30+ % gone (just a guess)
