First of all - GeneID just got rid of a bunch of reps last month - performing reps with accounts. Calling us while in accounts that we no longer worked there. They have a 30 day policy - you have to have an account in 30 days or your gone. Also the insurance is very limited - like three carriers in Maryland. They want you as the rep to start the account out collecting samples and paperwork then they hire someone to collect. After that 30 days you are to get food reimbursements - cell and car allowance. We got nothing after months of work. Zero. Run from this company.

99.9% of this thread is about another company, not even about Gene ID. Gene ID is hiring like crazy in certain areas of the country, they pay solid commissions, do good business, and provide a good service to offices who are interested in using their model.

You definitely have to show up ready to do business because they will fire you if you promise that you have great relationships and it then becomes obvious that you don't.

To the dork with the EKRA comment, I see you're a worse prognosticator than you are a salesperson even.

I’d say more than 20% is accurate. They did just fire a bunch of peeps in last few months. Did tank their tox line and has clia on their ass.

Gene ID is the only company that is actually following EKRA. I spoke to people at Lab Corp and other labs like bio etc and they are all running on egg shells. Gene iD has a commission program set up that is actually super enticing and pays really well. Having collectors in the office is 100% depending on the state. I’m a lawyer so I actually know what I’m saying. Anyway, Gene ID is one of the only labs I work for that not only pays well and on time, but actually follows compliance and medical necessity. They are strict. Which is good because you know you’ll get paid. They actually collect on tests because they only run if it meets the guidelines the insurance asks for. Great company. Easy to work with the people there. Idk who says otherwise

GeneIQ wishes they were GeneID. Tjey can't start up their multi million dollar investor funded snake oil shack so they are back door funneling business to another hack lab and wouldn't be surprised if they got another shell lab on the books to F over the insurance payers. Too bad their GD joke of a CFO is off on his own racket LLC. That guy was real good at taking candy from a baby.

GeneID is a joke and not an organization you want to be affiliated with. But this thread was about GeneIQ which is a different lab. Follow guidelines? Nope. Class act? No. If you ever worked for a real company you would know the difference.

I’m surprised to hear that GeneIQ is still around. I thought they got kicked out of that expensive real estate near highland park.

So explain this commission program if it is so legal and you should be able to explain it since you are a lawyer. LOL Yeah right. You mean you stayed in a Holiday Inn and that's why you think you're an expert now.
I would love to hear others tell me when was the last time they ever met someone in the lab space who would come on CafePharma claiming to be an attorney and also work for a lab? You proved to everyone you are an idiot and a lair when you claimed that GeneID is the only company following EKRA. There are hundreds of labs and you do not know what all of them are doing but yet you claimed that every single other lab is breaking the law. No real attorney would ever make a statement like that. This is a perfect example of why 99.9999999% of what is posted on this site is total rubbish.

How sad. I just went to LinkedIn and looked up GeneIQ. Saw the faces of the lab assistants and the other innocents....little do they know that they're on a short money making trip with FH driving. Once he gets his pockets filled, he'll hire a cleaner and fire everyone, he'll shut it down, tax write off, sell to another chump or whatever legal loophole his sleezy lawyers recommend to avoid CMS, jail time or any other fraud finding agency. Still a few greasy suits and "Principal Scientists = JOKE!" from Gulfstream Diagnostics and Genomics on the employee list. Didn't see MV or KZ although sure that they're tangled up in this tox shop somehow. No matter how many Bible's you thump or nice guy cards you play, you still have to look at yourselves in the mirror, your wives and your kids.

I am advocating his approach to business, however if he has sense enough to step away from the table before he creates any real trouble for himself or others - then he is smarter than most others who venture down this road!

I would agree, Andre is clueless but it confirms so is Frank. Frank should actually open more McDonald franchises like his father to keep the wealth flowing.

Word on the street, GeneIQ on life support and looking at options. Can’t afford to keep the lab open.
