DEI at Ethicon sales and marketing

lurker from other company here (shocker huh?)...can say it's the same here. Peak DEI is here. Feels like a convenient distraction / procrastination to dedicate so much air-time to DEI right now given other bigger problems.

When companies are growing they just worry about how to hire enough people to catch up. DEI happens with a little focus to it. When a company is in decline they search for reasons to be relevant. Ethicon is now at the stage where they will draw attention to anything but the fact that the leadership has failed at every turn.

How could they not fail? The reps are jokes. It would probably be worse if they were ever actually in an OR but most never leave their house? Is anyone actually running this company?
