Yes, you are 1000% correct on this. I have never met so many mean and just absolutely crazy people in my life. Most of the managers are complete sociopaths. I don’t understand why it’s so prevalent in this industry. What other industry do you know of that has its own website so that people can vent about how insane it is?

Spent 25 years in sales and it just got worse and worse. Absolutely just demoralizing.

Spent 23 years and worked for "The Big 3" pharmas...worst decision of my life...

What an evil friggin' industry...and like you said, it just worse and worse...

Looking back on it, I can't believe I put up with that crap from those idiiot, lowlife managers...(creeps)

30 plus years! Finally Retired. Thank You Abbott! This job will be gone in two years! No alcohol at speaker programs? Just the next step. Was! A great career and grateful I got to experience it at it’s best! Get a side hustle or go back to school. Only options left. Good Luck!

YES!! During my 20 years in Pharma I have thought this many times: "in this industry, you will encounter more sociopaths and psychopaths than any other industry."

THANK YOU for your post! At least there is one other person besides myself who sees this. I've mentioned this same conclusion a couple of times over the years to colleagues whom I thought might agree. But even they looked at me like they didn't get what I was saying. So I figured it was best for me to keep my thoughts to myself. I'm fortunate to be still here but on track to retire soon. I've never seen so many selfish, it's-all-about-me people; all in one industry!

If you don't believe Big Pharma and corrupt FDA are in bed together then read this. Those of us who worked with BP know it. Covid has proved it! Dozens of small Biotechs have safe, proven, repurposed therapeutics as we speak that corrupt FDA is holding under their thumbs not allowing them to be approved. Just go to a site such as investorshub.com and search for covid stocks. Yes, FDA has APPROVED a few "therapeutics" such as 'resdeathisnear' by BP you know which is as dangerous as Covid itself!

Once you figure out that your manager is not there to better the business or even help his team instead of throwing them under any bus he/she can you will finally realize what a Fd’ up industry you work in. RM/DM will literally go out of there way to purposely Sabotage and undermine morale to satisfy their own selfish egos and never be held accountable for their bs.
