Former OraPharma rep here, what’s up with the layoffs earlier this year? Looks like good people let go.

Ha good reps... more like the ones that cheated the system after all these years. Thanks to the whistleblower the DOJ stepped in. Looked at all those “good reps” and saw all the dirty rx they were writing.

Is that tool Leed still prancing around like the asshole he is with clothes that are way too small for him?

Leed is a good guy. If I was as jacked as he was I would be wearing small clothes too

That place is a shit show. Heard that they pulled their new aligner from the AMs already! Not sure how both the “chief strategy officer” Doug S. and Leed still have jobs after Doug’s continued failures
with new product launches and Leed being a walking liability. It makes you wonder.

They just did another layoff and reorganization. I'm sure this company will get it right and turn things around this time

This place sucks. They let go about 20 reps and now they have 25 TM and CAM jobs posted to hire. WTF?

I think they are down to their skeleton crew on the AM side. If you ask around, their headcount is non-existent. Plus, they pushed out all their reputable reps who hit numbers. What they need to do is hit the reset button, push out the existing upper mgmt sales people, and even consider new leadership. Also, their sales model makes no sense at all.

Layoff high producing reps to limit payout, Check.
Make Q2 unattainable for leftover reps to limit payroll expense, Check.
Make Q3 even tougher as most offices production goes down during summer months, Check.
Keep ego-driven managers who probably never read or taken a course on how to manage a team, Check.
Continue to apply a pharma sales model in a dental environment, Check.
Maintain current upper management people while transitioning to lesser skilled sales people that can be brainwashed, Check.
Continue to push an RX laden-incentive payout while there's less payout coverage offered, Check.
Tell reps they cannot discuss practice growth topics relating to their anti-biotics, but continue to internally push RX revenue, causing payouts to go down, Check.

What is going on at Orapharma? Are they selling? They are cutting back too it appears.
