There seems to be an expansion in medical, data analytics, etc as there are several positions posted. Can someone give insight on working at Immunocore? Pay, benefits, culture??? any help appreciated.

IMCR summary:
pro: patient focused, good science, many great people, market average pay and benefits, investor optimism
con: not a learning organization, R&D/clinical centric w limited commercial experience, high level of internal politics caused by sr leaders

Good science? Where's the pipeline? Great people? sales reps yes but leadership is horrifying. Below average pay. Benefits are average. Goals are high, hard to keep patients on drug very long. Stock high was in the $70's, now its in the $30's. No, it isn't a learning organization-at all. Medical is very arrogant. No environment is a "safe space" to learn or ask questions, turnover is not only high but astronomical for industry standards. Corporate looks way down on commercial. Sales is not respected but a necessary evil. Politics are a nightmare. Only a few survive for long. Metrics, metrics, metrics to the point of paranoia.

agree- company office politics are horrible. CEO and ILT dysfunctional. Lack basic understanding or awareness of issues and risks, culture of fear and retribution prevents accurate information from being shared. Losing good people who've kept the company afloat, while evps who are good at pretending to be competent and blaming others are rewarded.
