Doctors aren’t using SEG like they should.

Doctors aren’t making SEG a standard of care like Kowa wants in every office.

Doctors aren’t excited about SEG and won’t fight for it.

You are 100% correct!! The old and tired ingredients in SEG (when tramadol launched in the 90's as Ultram and Ultracet. Neither did well.) will never be able to make a come back in the treatment of acute pain. They weren't even scheduled drugs at that time. This happened well after tramadol became generic. With no added pharmacokinetic effect and no price advantage, doctors will never make SEG a 'standard of care' in their practice. There is nothing Kowa can ever do to change this, despite what the inexperienced Sr. Leadership team believes. SEG will never do any better that it is right now. In fact, Kowa is lucky they are selling any SEG at all. This is not the Sales Force's fault. It is the fault of the incapacity of Sr. Leadership to make a well thought out decision vs. an uneducated and/or desperate decision. Has anyone ever thought about the real reason Lou left?
