My company's Speaker Bureau is corrupt in that it only selects speakers that write our product hand over fist. My Territory had a Speaker who was a KOL in the community on my product's disease state but had only written one prescription for my drug. My speaker did a great job presenting my drug and was fair-balanced. My CEO came to my territory and spend a day in the field with me and wanted to meet my speaker. He strong armed my speaker and asked him to prescribe more and basically said that if he did not prescribe more than he did not have enough experience with the drug to be a speaker for our drug. Within a couple of months my speaker was taken off the speaker's bureau and another high performing territory with a speaker already in place was given the opportunity to add another speaker at the cost of my territory losing a speaker. The company adding another speaker in the high performing territory and basically bought him so he would churn out prescriptions. Do I have a case? This is congruent throughout all the territories... if speaker doesn't churn out prescriptions then the company cans them and recruits another speaker that will prescribe. Do I have a case?
