Can you tell me about the vacation, sick policy here? Coming from horizon and want to know what to expect next year. Yes I know you have Christmas and mid year shut down. But how many vacation days do you get and do you get separate sick days? Just trying to plan and know if I should carry over time. Thank you.

10 sick and 15 vacation. Managers don’t need to approve when you put it into workday. I use sick days for single days off and pto if it’s 2+. Managers/business units may be more strict on usage of sick days, but my unit allows it and refers to them as mental well-being days.

Plus all the holidays and the 2 shut downs as well.
 


I use my volunteer 8 hours to try to convince ZS that numbers aren't everything. If ZS claims a guy is a critical target, yet they have 8 rheumatology PAs that work for him and he just does research, it would be nice if the ZS boobs and their infiltrators in Thousand Oaks would acknowledge it.

Why not just fake a call every week on him and call on the PA's as appropriate?

Because it feeds the machine - the feedback loop is then, look, this guy is legit and they then double down - more calls will lead to better results. It's the only thing the ZS analytics infiltrators know. Because most of Amgen has been taught to fake most calls to match the POA target list, everyone knows Amgen target lists are worthless. Why not just be honest? Guys like you are why Amgen sucks.

This is the main problem with long term Amgenites. We know that in order to have a good calibration, we fake call data. Helen said as much. Jeff coached it. Paul accepted it. Tim understands it.

WE FAKE CALLS and Amgen loves it. All that matters is the KPI reports that Murdo, Ian, and Bob see.

Kave got demoted for trying to change it.
