There was extremely tenured managers who left and did extremely well at Mammotome. They did not get canned so SPEAK TO THAT; I know for a fact. There are reps at Mammotome who have been given extra commission because upper management knows big accounts can kill a territory quota in the middle of the year.

Your probably in a territory that had a Bard back order and got lucky. Show some real sales skills from start to finish.

Mammotome and Danaher always talk about taking care of their associates. I would like to see them give substantial raises that help offset the 8-10% inflation we all are experiencing. Heaven knows they have the profit and cash for it.
 


Whoever keeps replying to these threads with peoples initials is PATHETIC. Take the feed back and make the organization better. Your trying to be a good employee and defend Mammotome and I applaud you for that. Making everyone sound bitter and got fired who posts on here is not that truth. There is HIGH turnover right now so admit it!!!! Mike felds , Suzanne and operation team need there salary changed. 20-25% of there comp should be on how efficient operations is running and what.

Sounds like those initials call outs were accurate. Guessing you are one of the glorious bunch that was fired and or on a plan at the time you left. Which given how much $$$ Mammotome has made and how much market share we have stolen in the past 2 years means you must have been absolutely terrible at your job. I hope you enjoy your new found love for a 3rd rate eye care company ;) it is always good to be objective, but man those bashing this company are the literal definition of bitter. lol man boobs.
 


Our management is a Joke. Mike F now leaving for his cushy Cephid Job in Portugal. He’ll just show up and coast along during the next Covid wave. Looks like MF couldn’t do it for Mammotome. What a hack. Still backorders, delays, issues. It’s like nothing changed except MF ushered in the woke culture. What a joke. Go watch your marvel comics Mike and good riddance! MF is leaving. What did he even do? It’s like taking a victory lap in Kyiv saying I did great defending the crumbled city.

Launching 2 new products this year? 2 new products next year? Disruptive MR platform within 2 years, Cut the dead weight? Made us a real company? At the head of the ship the year we gain control of market share over hologic and are #1 in the space? Terrible I know.

What would you have done different? Serious question, curious to exact details of what he has done you didn't like and or how you would have done better. Not disagreeing with you, just actually looking for an answer. Don't worry I will wait.
 


This company only cares for mediocre results to slowly (I repeat slowly) move EPS and Revenue up each quarter for a decent stock result. However for us in sales it means caps (huge reduction) in commission once we make so many points over plan. When I brought this to management last year(s) when I and my team were doing well I was told, “we get paid pretty well already!”

They don’t care about long term retention for sales. We are throw aways after we reach a certain point. They keep 100% of the revenue I bring in yet I get paid less and less the more I bring in.

I know everyone will say “hey that’s business” and “go find another job then” but I guess I’m just sad to see the exceptionalism and try harder attitudes no longer get the rewards or respect that I grew up being taught. This is why America is slowly dying.

I hope one day we as a nation focus on winning again instead of racing each other to the bottom trying to convince one another about how offensive we may be to others.

Sooooo, since the company just adjusted Q3 payouts to ensure reps that had a bad Q3 will be getting paid more than they would have without it sorta contradicts your whole post. They didn’t have to pay out all that money. Go get another job.

That’s an old sales ops trick. In reality the quota should have been closer to 60-70% of the original plan. They just built in so much padding for them to adjust it only feels like they did us a favor.
