I was surprised that most of Tepezza team was kept intact. That ship has been sinking for a while now would have been a good time to sever all ties.
You know NOTHING. Horizon let many managers go. In fact 3 regional directors were let go within a year. Everyone with Tepezza is new, except some of the original managers.

All of the original SAMS, except a few who couldn’t get offers to leave are gone. It’s a bunch of young primary care reps now. What a joke.
There’s not a single primary care rep on the team. We’ve all been Specialty or rare disease for quite some time. Now, after that “virtual meeting” yesterday I looks like the primary care ones are marketing with their patronizing tone dumbing everything down, and the NEW VP as all they are concerned with is metrics. It’s pathetic.

Wait! You guys had specialty and rare disease experience?!

You may want to make sure someone in Amgen leadership knows about your ability to take lunch to a smaller set of prescribers over a larger geography. I don’t think you are getting credit for your experience.

The tepezza team clearly has no idea how to sell in rare disease. They are too busy calling on drs that can write tepezza instead of calling on who should be referring to them.

Clueless and the reason why we are at this crap company called amgen.

I believe we are all at Amgen because Timmy and his one time trophy wife wanted to cash out and live the good life.

They were not kept in tact. In fact the original Tepezza folks are gone except a few managers and only a handful of reps. You have no clue what the Walbert's did to people to get "ready" for the acquisition. Many people lost their jobs. The ones that didn't, were so mad, that they left and took other jobs. No quality person wanted to work for micromanaging Amgen.

The Tepezza team hasn't hit its national goal in 2 years....they need to be micromanaged.
