Ironshore Reps Morale Very Low Here








So I have been with the company for less then year and was told that we do not get yearly raises.. Is that true?


Yes. That is true. We did get them last year, but is was a surprise to everyone. They don’t do annual merit raises or cost of living raises. But…. Your manger will more than likely ride with you one a month and buy you lunch.
 






Yes that is right, basically you lose money every year that you work here because of inflation.Inflation goes up and your base stays the same. what a great idea said no employee ever.
If you're smart stay far away from here. This place is toxic unless you use it to you're advantage and move to bigger and better things like most people here. No experienced reps stay here, they can't afford them, they all leave. Upper management head is so far in the cloud w/the big ideas & wasting money that they are clueless. Lower management is just "babysitters" who follow orders & most of managers don't even get paid what most specialty reps at other companies get paid. If they had a clue they would leave but since they just follow each other from company to company they stay here and suck it up. That's why most people won't take this job, the rep level pay is below industry standard, the management level is not even what most specialty reps make let along management pay, no company car, no yearly raises, insurance is crap, bonus structure set up so that no one really gets paid, & micromanagement. Unless Your fresh out of college with no experience this is not the place to be. Anyone with 5 yrs or more of experience, they can't afford you and you will not want this job. Most people are either leaving or looking for somewhere else to go. That's why there are so many openings. It's not about an expansion.

Great national call today! Very positive as they say the same exact things they always say. Literally nothing new. I am pleased the company is doing so well. The reps are not. Survey says a high 80%. Not so. They are distorting that. No company is perfect, but this company is now hurting its top sales people.
The diversity team and women's team is mandatory to having a sellable company.
Leadership has fallen apart. We need an experienced national sales leader. Just put MN in the position for now and then put others as regional managers. We do not need two leaders. It does not work. People are put in positions they are not qualified for. They are pretending we all believe what they say.
The experiment is over.
 


My question is how can I be ranked against territories that are almost all medicaid? I have all commercial in my territory and this is not a fare ranking system. Why do I have to hear how great the top sales people are when most of them have heavy Medicaid. It is the same people all the time. $75 Vs Free.
