How is Medicaid coverage in NY? Do reps make money? I am soooooo done with big pharma and micromanagement for no money. If drug is covered and used in NY, then I'm in!
 


This is a great position. You will get away from the big pharma mentality. The only downside is you never know if Abbott or another big company will purchase Alkermes for its robust pipeline. Well, there are no certainties. See how you like the hiring manager and go for it if you feel good.

IT IS NOT COVERED IN NY, AND YOU HAVE TO USE YOUR OWN CAR. SOME SONG AND DANCE ABOUT VARIABLE AND FIXED EXPENSES FOR THE CAR. NO WAY I KNOW THE TERRITOTRY YOUR INTERVIEWING FOR GOOD LUCK
 






Recruiter call about a sales force expansion for Alkermes. As a former Wyeth rep and looking for work obviously interested in talking. How's the pay, bonus and benefits?

Pay and bonus is similar to other biotech companies. Benefits are competitive. You just have to decide if a huge territory is worth it.
 










look at Vivitrol sales from yuear to year, no growth. The diabetes drug being investigated with Lilly/Amylin was inferior to competition and that project is going to be axed, sound good now?

It’s a job if you need one but I wouldn’t quit a job to come here. Vivitrol isn’t growing and the company isn’t investing in it. Management is a nightmare.
 








This job is amazing if you are on the inner circle if you are not don’t bother. Advice from someone who has promoted through the system and sales performance is suboptimal always say the right thing, agree fully with leaders (Todd Loves a yes woman), the rest of the leadership could likely never get out of an escape room that had answers written on the walls. So ya shut your mouth, wear a short skirt even if your a dude and this company will be the best thing you ever did.
 


It is not just Glenn! Seriously every time I have to watch Jeff Harris on stage read a slide because he can’t just relate to people I want to stick a fork in his and my eye!
It is ridiculous!
