To Maya and Emma

If you are let go you will get 2 months paid w/benefits then 2 weeks pay for each year of employment. Most will find themselves with $100K+ in severance. Throw in unemployment. You should easily have 6 months or more of living expenses covered. If you find another job within three months you will have received the largest bonus you've ever had. The biggest benefit will be that you will no longer have to work for GSK. Corporate culture here is the absolute worst!

2 months paid??? You mean the 2 months we are required to be in the field. Yes, they have to pay us for that since we are still required to work and maintain metrics. The only time we are getting “free” is the 3 weeks in July. Since we are employed until to July 20th and last day is June 27.

I know several newer people who were let go and they will be getting 12 weeks. 3 months.

Just don't work hard for the last two months. Spend that time looking for your next job. Duh.

If you truly want to do the right thing by your displaced employees, please extend the severance packages to 3-4 weeks per year of service. We are traumatized from this experience and need the additional time that wasn’t afforded us due to the dishonest and misleading way Rob and Joaquin led us to believe that there would be no job losses. Clearly the company is not cutting jobs due to lack of profits as you all spent millions on the lavish meeting in ATL. Had we known that our jobs were in jeopardy, we would have made different decisions and prepared accordingly. The 100 employees and their families deserve to have this time to emotionally recover. We worked our asses off for you during our tenure with the company and have been loyal, although, it feels like the company was never loyal to us. Please do something that the other leaders did not do and put yourself in our shoes and look at the situation from our perspective and afford us this additional severance.
Sincerely,
Displaced Personnel
Anyone who is caught by surprise and not preparing to be laid off in pharma these days deserves to get nothing in severance. It’s common sense.

Texas will be taking a huge loss of business. Most displaced and no openings to help the displaced. I’ve already heard the state is talking about switching to Sanofi and 3 huge health systems will be contracting next year with Abrysvo for sure. Heard it from the horses mouth. Watch this company tank due to a decision “the computer” made.

I don’t think upper management even cares at this point. There’s no corrective action being taken. Wait for more cuts to come in about 9 months!

They aren’t giving Texas any budget either. I wonder how that will turn out!!! Anyone running VBU know what the F how run a sales team in today’s healthcare environment????

If there were value in what you brought to the table, there should be no catering budget for VBU field sales and customers would see you regardless.
