The invesigstion all started with an “anonymous” letter sent around to all clients and to the DOJ/NJ Med claiming wrong doing. Look at past posts on this forum, ex employees and competitor openly admitted to calling the authorities. The investigation started in 2018. Clients were given subpoenas, cell phones and emails tracked, employees interviewed. 5 years later and being forced to file chapter 11, no wrong doing found. No money left fir government to seize or fine.
Ironically, the rumored ex employees that sent the letter and started their own lab have since been under the same investigation, banned from billing in NJ, severely fined and defunct. Be careful what you wish for karma really is a bitch.
