Also looks like an Avanir reunion at the Regional level. That should lead to great things! And then there’s the 2 Regionals with zero pharma experience. Not that that’s a bad thing, but WTF?
So, look for a team of Avanir field rejects to get positions over experienced , launch savvy, successful CNS reps all over America. Nepotism at its finest!!
 




The recruiters have no information on any of your questions- odd with an august PDUFA date. Methadone/Wellbutrin combo and another provigil type drug is not exactly stout, IMO.

that’s probably why they’ve already hired a bunch of Avanir people The company that sells Nuedexta which is a drug for uncontrollable laughing and crying or uncontrollable mood. So you’re now combining that component with an anti-depressant component together.
dextromethorphan works on Glutamate thought to affect mood, they also use Nuedexta for agitation in Dementia patients.

How the hell do you sell a drug that’s made with dextromethorphan (that’s generic and cost pennies and is in Robitussin )for
laughing an crying and get $300 million a year in sales ? And actually this new start up company Avanir was purchased by a giant company Otsuka for big bucks.
 


Spoke with a recruiter today on the first interview, they said a base of 150 K was good and that was in the range, told them that’s what I’m making now and I do not want to take a pay cut. The recruiter did not know if they’re going to offer stock options, or stock, said the 401(k) they only match 50% of the first 6% which that is not that great. Said they will not have company cars wich that totally sucks, there will be a car allowance but she didn’t know how much or didn’t know if they would provide gas cards.
Having to go out and buy a car get your own insurance even though there’s a car reimbursement it’s still a big pain in the ass with repairs tires maintenance and wear and tear on your car you lose money on that unless you’re getting a cheap car like a Honda or Toyota or something of that nature.

150-170 rep salary range, 220-250 manager salary range, uncapped bonus, stock options but not certain how much or vesting period yet being finalized, car reimbursement is excellent most reps and managers will be making money monthly.
