    Stock market dropping like a rock. So ZimVie IPO won't generate as much cash for ZB as predicted. So BH bonus won't be as large as he and wife penciled out. But a Medtronic takeover might make up for that for BH.

    Seems weird as they are launching 7 new foot and ankle products this year and new collateral material to support it. Can't imagine the division going away with this type of investment. So are FA reps with the exception of a few going 1099 instead of direct?

    fired = no 1099’s
    Trauma reps gonna get foot and ankle sets most likely like the rest of the world does. Or Hanson will spin this off as well as his interests still lie with medtronic.

    Why would Medtronic want products that are losing share and behind on technology?

    And what trauma rep has time to cover the FA bag? Makes no sense whatsoever

    This.
    Why is this Medtronic pipe dream still even mentioned? Of course this would be the best thing ever for Hanson, but it ain’t happening. Why TF would Medtronic acquire us? ZB is a boat anchor. If Medtronic wants a joints business, there are plenty of cheaper pure-play options out there with a whole lot less baggage.

    And besides, “ZB is a ‘Technology’ company, not a joints or metal and plastic company.’ God, if I hear that one more time, I’ll puke. So, how much of our revenue is tech vs. metal and plastic? Please…

    curious as to what happened to the FA sales force across the nation. Went 1099 from direct? Incorporated into local distributorships? etc

    So are you saying that the Foot and Ankle team were given the boot?

    Hear foot and ankle is being absorbed into local distributorships but still under corporate. Don't know what this means

    How does the change make sense? Now Zimmer wants foot and ankle reps to cover trauma? Yet there is still a foot and ankle number to be met? Why blend the two? Agree that there us some synergy there but focus will be lost on FA if you're covering trauma and not making $$$$

    what trauma does anyone actually sell other then hand innovations distal radius business that we bought…. And why would we have a separate Foot and ankle division? Not like our foot and ankle bag sells itself…. Plenty of time to try and make more money, unless your afraid you can’t even hit a foot number lol.

    What's the best way to tell u have an out of spec implant? Well u measure it! Now if you knowingly send it into the field what happens. Well not much for the company but maybe some issue with the patient. If your an employee who tries to stop it then we'll you probably will see.
