Medical Director at GeneDx just resigned

Ooops outta time. GeneDx just lost its medical director, why? Opko is killing itself and taking BRL with it.

 

Why? Well, simply put, some people are frightened by success. In particular when things start to move too quickly. Some people, whom we shall not name here, prefer to wallow in complacency and failure. And your other assessment is backwards and wrong as well. BioReference is taking off again. Skyrocketing actually, and taking the rest of the deadweight at OPKO with it. This can all be attributed to the innate leadership qualities of our Executive Team. Even during the toughest times, and under the harshest criticism, they continued to encourage a culture of teamwork, focus and collaboration. Their agility and enthusiasm should be commended. I'm not surprised, GenPath has been dying a slow death.

 

And bio isn’t??? 2 bucks a share and Quest still won’t buy you. Needs to be run a bit further in the ground first I guess.

 

That's actually a fair point.

 

That is the obvious mission of the “executive team” from DGX. Everything else is pure theatre. Quest pulls the strings on everyone and everything in the clinical laboratory industry. There is no free market. No government oversight. Even the insurance industry dances to their tune.
