I would ask about what their metrics are like. Was in your shoes (coming from patient care) and went to BMS. OMG this place was awful and unrealistic from a metric standpoint. Their initiatives are driven by commercial and it made the MSLs super sales reps. BMS is a compliance train wreck. Couldn’t get out of there quick enough.
What therapeutic area/speciality? The job and metrics vary greatly from specialty to specialty at any company. For example the primary care MSL duties are very different than the oncology MSL's.
