retiree medical and Medicare

Hey Retirees: We would not be laying off hard working, young sales reps if we didn't have to pay your inflated retirement benefits! Do us all a favor and fade away, y'all old farts! Nothing worse than driving behind a Merck retiree in their old cadillacs or running into one in a docs waiting room - - - get out of the way!!! Terminate their retirement pensions and medical/dental - - - it's corporate welfare!!!!!!!

 

Gilmartin + Ken and Barbie doll reps that look pretty and know nothing = beginning of the downfall of Merck.

 

Why does Merck only pay for Viagra pills/month? This is totally unfair and discriminatory towards the retirees!! Change the policy Ken!!!!

 

When Gilmartin abdicated leadership responsibility to directors and VPs who didn't give a darn about training standards and ethics, the die was cast. Thousands of Kens and Barbies were hired to increase "share of voice" rather than sell credibly through product knowledge and understanding the diseases they treat.

The rep "volume" vs. rep "value" philosophy hastened the race to the bottom. And the silly comments about the burden of retiree benefits show the selfish, short-sighted, short-term thinking that still exists in this company.

 

I feel so sorry for you. So limited in your understanding of Merck, past and presence.

Viagra is used by even young folks who have performance fear.

ED is not always age-related. Some of your friends, like a few of mine, have the issue due to diabetes. Now to enlighten you further. A few of them were born with it (juvenile diabetes or Type 1). This is probably way above your level of comprehension.

BTW, Merck covers Cialis, not Viagra. Do more research first.

Its amazing and disturbing re the vile comments people post when they can hide behind the curtain of anonymity. Certainly, being anonymous when "discussing" delicate and personal matters is important and unfortunately required, but that shouldn't be an excuse for children to spit such ugly comments. Anonymous 5183784, although not displayed on the site, there ARE ways to identify the worst offenders. Two words - cookies & Hadoop. Why doesn't Merck Retiree Medical pay for laxatives?!?!?!?! I lost my s*it and can't find it!

 

Children...Rogaine is generic for a long time and is OTC. One of my college friends began to go bald at age 20. I also have a friend in his mid-20's going bald right now.

Again, too dumb and young to know any better. Poorly educated and ignorant.
