Uncle Bronco's MARCH MADNESS MANIA 2013!

Hi sportsfans. BroncoBoy here. Just a heads up that MARCH MADNESS starts March 19 and ends April 8 in 2013. Like last year, Uncle Bronco will be your host. I treat all my participants with respect and dignity unless they get out of line. But I don't expect any problems this year. We had a GREAT time last year and everyone got along super well. If you have a hard time getting along with other board players - PLEASE - observe but don't participate in 2013. That's all I ask. I guarantee you free laughs and entertainment. And as I stated under NCAA Pick 'Em thread, I do not discriminate based on race, creed, religion, gender, home state, team or conference preference, political ideology, sexual orientation (yes, you are safe - and you know who you are), or even IQ. Dumb people are welcomed just as much as smart people. Oh, and BOTH registered and unregistered players are accepted in my family.

NCAA basketball can be just as entertaining as NCAA football. So I ask you to bring your party hats and expect a good time at Uncle Bronco's MARCH MADNESS MANIA 2013 in March. The competition starts March 19 but I will have the board up as soon as the teams are announced and the First Four and the Rounds are schedules. You can count on Uncle Bronco. He won't let ya down. Keep in mind that the actual games will be posted a few days before March 19 - or whenever they are announced.

Oh, and this will be ROUND BY ROUND competition - so if you don't play the First Four or the First Round you can jump in for the Second Round.

BUT YOU MUST PLAY FROM THE START OF THE COMPETITION (FIRST FOUR) TO HAVE A CHANCE TO WIN THE PRIZED GOLD CROWN.

Please keep that in mind. Uncle Bronco will hold your hands and guide the way. Leave the work to me. All you need to do is PICK and come to have a good time.

We will also have a SHOW AND TELL competition this year during March Madness when each of our players will have a chance to tell us a personal story about your own life that you think we would interest us. And the best SHOW AND TELL (voted by all the players) wins the coveted SWAGGER AWARD for showing your ultimate stuff! Players do NOT have to play SHOW AND TELL. It is NOT a requirement. But I think it will add some joy and excitement to this year's Uncle Bronco's MARCH MADNESS MANIA 2013 And those who tell us their deepest secrets get bonus points! So let it all hang out!!!

Btw, my favorite team is the Gonzaga Bulldogs. I love the Zags (or the Dogs)....whatever you choose to call them. It's my fav team. They are #9 AP right now @ 15-1. Watch them tomorrow (Thurs, Jan 10) @ 11pm est on ESPN2. Awesome team. They got a 7 foot white boy named Kelly Olynyk from Canada who will just knock your socks off. I love the Zags. I'm a Zagman and have been for many years.

In addition to playing Uncle Bronco's MARCH MADNESS MANIA 2013 I suggest that you go to casinodave with a dot com. That site lists all the corporations that do March Madness brackets. There must be a dozen of them. And you can win some pretty big prizes if you do well. It's totally FREE and LEGAL. What I do it this: I have my core winners on each bracket - teams that I think have NO CHANCE of losing. I go with them through thick and thin. But I tweak all the wobbler games that could go either way on the various brackets. That seems to work for me. On the ESPN bracket I beat Obama's bracket and he did pretty well. But I didn't do well enough to win a prize.

On a few of the brackets you can play round by round. But I believe most make you choose a cumulative bracket that has all the games listed and you must pick the ENTIRE bracket BEFORE the start of the games. And after first games start you cannot edit your bracket. You are stuck with it. It is really a challenge because if you pick wrong in the first couple rounds it really fucks up your final score.

So in addition to playing with Uncle Bronco (not literally or in a lewd manner) you should also visit that site where you can get all the great brackets listed in one place.

Oh, and MSNBC has a pretty good March Madness bracket. Not round by round. Only cumulative. So I recommend that one too.

But let's say you picked Duke to win across the board and become the MM winner. In a cumulative type bracket if you picked Duke in the 2nd round and by some miracle they lost you would be screwed from the start because you would automatically lose all subsequent games that Duke was going to play. Get it? So be very careful.

In round by round competition you get a fresh start after every round into the Sweet 16, final 8 and final 4. So you can screw up and still start anew.

That is why Uncle Bronco will bring you round by round competition. (It was be techincally impossible for me to do cumulative anyway).

Uncle Bronco is your friend and will take good care of you.

Now go out tonight and down a few. Football season is over and you deserve to be good to yourselves. I would still like for you to do some daily deep knee bends and sprints to the refrigerator to stay in decent shape for MM. And you can max out on the lovemaking if you wish during off-season. Just leave the animals alone if you live on a farm. Domestic pets are off-limits too.

Tinkrbelle - did you notice that the Oregon Ducks beat #4 (15-1) Arizona St. tonight. Good game. The Ducks kick ass in B-Ball too! This is good for Gonzaga. It means the Zags will probably move up to #8.

I'm very surprise that Arizona St. is not one of your fav teams. They were #4 until Oregon beat them tonight.

You're fav teams are all outstanding, especially Michigan and Duke.

I just hope Gonzaga makes it to the final 4 this year. It's a longshot. But I think they could do it with a little luck!

Gonzaga is #9 AP (15-1), soon to be 16-1 in about an hour. They only lost to Illinois. Since ASU got beat by Oregon Gonzaga should go to #8 (at least).

They got a 7 foot white boy named Kelly Olynyk. He is over the top. He moves like a ballerina under the hoop and can sink 3 pointers like nothing. His free throw percentage is around 80-85%. He was suspended from the first 2 games for breaking team rules. Probably got caught smoking dope (just guessing - I don't know for sure). But I really like the kid. He's got hair down to his shoulders like a hippy. He's got real attitude. I like people like that. He's my kind of kid. I hope he goes pro. But I think he's only a soph or junior.
