To answer your statemnt/ques compassionately:
Im new to this conversation-but not new to the 7week wait. The offices are understaffed and inundated with claims. There is a backlog and when you wait on the phone for 3days, it connects you to a machine that disconnects you to a dead telephone line.
It will automatically kick in and you will get a letter or email notification, based upon how you signed up, then a notice will come and tell you to file your weekly claim. Hang in there. I When I filed it took about 6 weeks and I was lost and clueless as well, with no human contact.
