Where are people job searching?

I've already started searching for a new job. I was looking to move to Convatec, but the word on the street is that Medline is going to absorb them - so I'm not sure now is the best time to jump ship. Something has got to give, though. I don't feel like our jobs are secure here...

The industry is great, actually. The whole pay-for-performance shift will bring very exciting times to those who work for quality healthcare companies. And for those of us at KC...well...yeah I'm lookin' for a new job.

If KC is such a gem why did medtronic pass it over. Lets see we have a robust product line and excellent leadership. NOTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!! Oh yea their hands were bound by KC in Dallas.

So if the person has done well, why wouldn't they be qualified for that role?
 








Medline is the last resort company for hospitals that are bordering on bankruptcy. They fund the hospitals payables in exchange for the hospital switching to their substandard products.
They are known as having terrible-but cheap products. They stumbled on to a great business model as hospitals began to struggle for their existance. For example, medline came out with a closed suction catheter about 2 years ago. To the best of my knowledge, they have zero market share, as the product is outright dangerous. Yes, they sell cheap gowns and booties, can't screw that up too much, and they force their unfortunate hospitals to switch to their oral care kits as part of the 'deal' to save the hospital. K-C is far from a bargain, but at least our products (when available) are well respected and well made.
 


Yea not true the only kc product that is well made is ballard and that is some times. Same old bs about ML you are a poor business person and one of the reasons kc is in the shitter.
 


Well after they hired a marketing guy with limited sales experience to be the director of sales for pain management I'm looking at ortho. Interviewing with Arthrex, S&N and I had an interview with Stryker, but I heard they are an awful company to work for. This place is sad when u look at our pain division. Marvin was clueless...but his replacement..??? Really???

Bc he's not. Marketing does nothing to qualify u for a sales management role. It makes u ready for a senior marketing role. I've talked to numerous people, some from his team and they r shocked. Marvin was avg-bad. This is an extension of him....not good.
 


The logical and best choice would be to let Price H run the show. He is an RN, MBA, sold, Division Manger, and marketing genius. Please we need real leadership! Just let Price put this company on top!

Spoken like a pathetic medline rep who sell on nothing but price. My dog can do that by putting your pricelist in his mouth and dropping it off at purchasing.
