you start a thread accusing another American citizen of being a redneck, it doesn't go the way you want it to so you throw a hissy fit and delete it.

For the record, I did not delete the thread. Why in the hell would I delete something that I believed?

I think there were a couple of posers who pontificated enough that Sarah decided it was time to clip the wings. Go ahead, ask her.

It is curious how some posters jump to conclusions without knowing the entire story.

I would offer up two more definitions aside from 'redneck' for Terry Jones:

huck·ster

One who uses aggressive, showy, and sometimes devious methods to promote or sell a product.

char·la·tan

A person who pretends or claims to have more knowledge or skill than he or she possesses; quack.

Nuff ced.

Thanks for correcting the record. Your word is sufficient. My apologies for making an incorrect accusation based upon a reasonable assumption.

Unlike some others on here (WE that would be YOU), I don't have a problem giving an apology when one is due.

It's good that you know those definitions since they are properly applied to many of the people that you support. :D

As for the Rev. Jones, even if one believes him misguided, he is something else as well: principled.
 


Some people have a warped sense of 'principled'.

Terry "Huckster" Jones is as far from 'principled' as an individual can get.
 


One thing he is is a nobody hungry for attention. You should read today's updates on this topic. Can't post it or the thread will disappear!
 




















Back to rednecks: had a family friend who moved a "manufactured home" in to an over 55 development consisting of a mix of site built and mobile homes. The redneck joke at the time averred that you were a redneck if you had to take the wheels off your new home. He contended he was not a redenck because he could afford to pay someone else to remove the wheels....
