I'm reading a textbook and just learned that women that engage in anal sex should also have a anal pal smear when they get their vaginal one.
It makes sense, I never thought about that but this opens a lot of questions.
I am now assuming gay males should get them too, yet I have never heard the importance stressed in the media.
Should people that engage in oral get throat pap smears?
HPV is implicated in throat cancers. Why not place importance on anal and throat for gay and straight males and females?
