I guess that is what seperates innovators and creators versus benefactors and destroyers.(Wow, I can't believe how much interest there is in this dog)
> Margins are tiny? Hmmm. how'd you get the economic model? Oh you don't have it.
The people being hired have been here and done it before. They get it. You do not. Not a entreprunurial or innovative bone in your body.
Once Niaspan is written it is taken every day for life?? We all wish that were true, but those who worked and sold it know that is an idiotic statement.
Don't be jealous, just pray you can smoke and morrors someone else and exist off of others again. There is a sucker born every minute, and I am sure you can line up plenty. I'm not with you though, Bye this week.
Hahaha, I know more than you think.
You can call me any names you want but, since you seem to be inside, I would suggest you ask a lot of questions of those people who apparently have "done it before". That was in a different company, at a different time, under different reimbursement conditions, and it was a company that owned the lab itself. They made lots of money by billing for multiple parts of a single test which can't be done here.
This is a very different situation. No, not jealous and I won't call you any names, just be smart and ask lots of good questions. Don't automatically believe everything they tell you.
As for economic model, no I don't have one, but here's one you can add up yourself. It's a guess, but probably not that far off.
- # of people in the company x average salary and bonus = people costs
plus some figure for overhead (take your pick)
- Now multiply the number of tests that get ordered and multiple by a fraction of the reimbursed amount (it's something like $40 right?). Take a guess at how much the lab makes and what is left over, probably eight to ten bucks at the most.
- Now compare the two numbers and see how rich you'll get...that is after the investors take their cut.
I don't have inside knowledge but gave a lot of thought to this and decided not to join them when I could have. No regrets.
Good luck
