Back in field, no samples loaded into ipads. Brocken refrigerators for hand samples. No word on Afrezza marketing materials to use in field. 27 items to complete for training on Learning Gateway, on your personal time! Vacant territories/vacant Mgrs. Target lists that don't include the top writers in geography, target lists that include targets that don't know what Lantus is. Web videos from management saying "hi". Holiday card from 3 dudes that can barely squeeze out a smile. No CEO. Lawsuit. Survey results that show 55% of sales force considers looking for new job. Etc.

Any others left out?

Get ready for the flawless execution of future launches. And get that online training done!! Has to be a 90 or you have a sitdown with your manager. Remember your manager graduated college with a 2.0 grade point average.

Interesting to see this "Get a 90 or die." theme going through every bit of training. Just shows the hysteria and worry paves the way to management by fear and intimidation.

Trolling here...I left because Sanofi is awful and the managers they unleash on the reps there are even worse. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I have been since I left. It looks like nothing has changed. Leave and you'll be happier. I promise.

I know. What a terrible idea to make sure you have at least an A- understanding of what the fuck you're talking about before having discussions with physicians about patient care. That really is crazy for a company to expect to you actually understand your own product. How dare them!

Most of the questions are centered on minutia that are seldom, if ever used in the field. If you actually worked here you would know that.

They did after all predict accept the unreasonable and managed chaos. Boy were they telling the truth.

Most envied sales force? Lulzsec. Flawless execution? More Lulzsec

Gen meds is a gen mess.

Scott: ease up on the free coffee and jump up and down. You are an iron man. Be an iron man. Did I mention everyone in marketing gets free coffee?

You should see the coffee room up there in the marketing section. 35 different coffees and a 5 thousand dollar coffee machine. Free. All you want and you don't have to pay.

I am going to agree with everything mentioned. And if my intuition is on point it is much ado about nothing because a bunch of us will be gone when Lantus death spirals. For now I am hating the condescending way they are treating us. It has never been shittier. There is NO WAY I would stay here if I had 8 years or less. Could this bunch be any more clueless???????

If they really wanted us to know what we are talking about v. just passing a fucking test they would give us time to know the material. You have to put your money where your mouth is. Telling your people to learn complex information that impacts health care decisions in their" free time" is a master class in hypocrisy. If they really wanted us to be the best they would invest in us and that includes time to learn. It is the incongruency that defines Sanofi. And the stupidity.

And really what other company or industry tells their employees to do important training in their "free time". Just think for a moment about how pathetic that really is.

You are a salaried, not hourly employee. As such, you are never on or off the clock. Quit acting like you make $7.25 an hour at the local gas station. Professionals are actually expected to complete the work that is needed of them, not punch in and out on a time clock.

I do work here. But, unlike you, I understand that my JOB is to know all the details, not just 2-3 sales points that I'm going to try and beat my customer over the head with. If you don't know the 'minutia', then the conversation will never go there, now will it? When patient lives are being affected by your drug, the least you could do is actually know the information that supports the drug's use. Otherwise, we can just hand the patient a marketing glossy when they walk into the doctor's office. The problem here is you and your laziness about learning the information. Quit blaming someone else.

regardless of what you say-and you are quite obviously an agent of Sanofi-there should be some investment from coprporate into training with respect to time-it really just makes you look bad because field sales will get it done no matter-you will just look like a shitty company that doesn't care if your people are adequately trained and it is typical for you..because well you are a SHITTY company

You sound like a real gem to work with. Could anyone love you as much as you love yourself? My observation is based on the experience of taking many, many of these test questions over the years and the practical value to physicians and patients. My JOB is to know the problems and challenges in my providers practices. My JOB is to know how my product and how it can improve the lives of my providers patients and do it safely and effectively. If it makes you happy to memorize the PI word for word, go for it. As far as being lazy, I'd compare my work ethic to yours any old time. Get over yourself.

Heck no. not anything substantive. Remember the avalide 300/25 launch? well, sanofi doesnt even manufacture 300/25s anymore! What a joke. Management IS CLUELESS.
