Tell me your fed up without telling me your fed up






It is important offices show your manager a good time. If you are lucky, home office dignitaries will visit you in field as well. Pharmaceutical salespeople have to bring breakfast, lunch, and snacks door to door to office staff in August heat with a smile. Hopefully, some prescribers will be nice to your manager during urgent 2 day field visits. It is important prescribers do a “Dog and Pony” show so the manager can get their pay check which is much higher than yours.
 


What’s really changed? Been retired for quite a while, but it was like this before I retired. If your manager works with you that much, we’ll, you know what’s coming
 


20 years ago only 15% of doctors were “No See.” Everyone wanted free samples. Today all lunches and snacks are required by federal government to be reported. No one wants samples. Over 60% of doctors are “No See.”
 




The manager has no idea of the what the group actually needs to do but is a wizard is using buzz words like just lean in, be curious and so on. I do not overwork at all but I am so tired all the time.
 












Less than 10% of Executive reps really deserve the promotion. Once they get the title change you never hear from them again.
Most “Executive reps” happened to be at the right place at the right time and got the nudge from their manager to apply..
It’s all so rigged.
 






95+% Market Access for plans is an absolute joke!!!! It’s the usual market access bullshit!! Custom plans carve out no coverage or there are 50 step edits and prior auths needed first. Please stop the bs!! The only thing they have is fictional story telling to leadership.
 




So over it to the point no one gives a damn.
Stupid ass field ride templates, conference calls, manager ride alongs way to frequent (to the point offices are sick of seeing) and think our pod is in trouble. Fire drills everyday. Let us work and leave us alone.
 




My fed up without telling me your fed up is I took a pay cut and huge loss in benefits to leave this company because there’s such terrible culture, fake people, and inflated egos. I’m also working harder now but am less tired and exhausted at the end of the day. Why? Because I’m not stepping over 7 other reps, educators, and MLs in my geo, trying to say and do the right things to get promoted, and none of it paying off anyways. If you’re on here complaining and exhausted, plz find a new job before 30%+ of the organization is doing the same.
